I'm working on the finishing touches to the shopping cart but I noticed when an order is placed the order confirmation email is sent to both the the customer and the admin email. That part works perfect. The problem is I need the Purchase Order Email to display the cost and price. I'm not sure which token to use when modifying the email template. Also how do I get the purchase order to submit an email? The only thing going through is the order confirmation. I'm sure I'm missing something so simple. Thanks for the help the cart works great and you guys do a great job.

Thanks,
Victor

Hi Victor,

The site looks really good :)
I am not sure what you mean by "purchase order email" can you forward me a copy of the email that Cart Viper is currently generating and then I can advise on which token you need to add to get the cost etc, my email address is: nigel@cartviper.com

One issue I did notice is that the ajax is not functioning correctly on your site, this is due to the fact you need to add a "www" alias to your portal aliases for your site.
If you go to: host - > portals (edit store portal) - > advanced settings -> portal aliases

You need to add the below portal alias:
www.dev.earlepress.com

The below screenshot is for reference.

Thanks
Nigel.

Nigel,

Thanks for the help with the alias. Thats solved a lot of my problems. :-)

I just forwarded an order email. Right now Cart Viper creates two emails one is sent to the customer and the other back to me. What I would like to do is add the cost to my email. I tried to do this using the "Purchase Order Email Template" below but when the order is placed I get the "Order Confirm Email". I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Thanks for the help,
Victor

Hi,

We don't support the ability to send the admin and customer different emails so they will both get the same email.

The reason I think you are still getting "orderConfirmation.htm" is due to the fact we have different email templates based on whether the customer placed their order anonymously or they had logged into the site before they placed their order.

Looking at your screenshot below you have the anonymous email set to "purchaseOrderEmail.htm" but the registered user email set as "orderConfirmation.htm" if you change this to "purchaseOrderEmail.htm" hopefully it should work as you expect.

Thanks
Nigel.
