Hi, we have an issue with the use of the [MODELNUMBER] token. In the products widget template, it will just display the module number data with no other styling, etc. But when used in the product listing or product details templates, it displays the words "Model Number: " and the the actual data. Would it be possible to not have the text displayed and leave it up to the site admin to add any text if necessary? Or have another token which would solve this?

Hi Dan

Great point, basically when rendering the product details/product list as you point out we are creating a caption along with the actual data. The caption is supplied from a RESX since we localise the output of this pages.

The product widget is a much lighter weight module, we allow you to create templates in the admin interface and don't output localised strings we just assume your template will contain the captions to describe the data value being outputted.

So that gives you some background into the two different methods of rendering and why they behave as they do.

What we could do in the next release 1.2.5 is create a new token in the Product List/Product Details that would allow you just to output the value. So you could select the correct token that you wish to use in your template?

How does that sound as a fix?
