I have an item with a maximum purchase amount of 50. When I try to purchase ANY amount of them that is 50 or less, I am given the error message that "The maximum number of this product that can be purchased per customer is 50".  However, if I go into my cart it turns out that the items really were added to my cart, and in the proper quantity.

If I try to purchase 51+ items, it gives me the same error message (as it should), then does NOT add the items to my cart (as it should).

If I go into the cart and try to change the quantity purchases, all functionality behaves as I expect: quantities 1-50 are fine, 51-n result in a warning and no change to the quantity.

If there is a setting that I am missing, please let me know.

Thank you.

*Apologies: the first sentence should read "I have an item with a maximum purchase QUANTITY of 50."

I also did a bit more debugging:
Somehow, quantities of 1-25 are fine, but 26+ are a problem.  But again, as long as there *should* have been room in the cart for them, they are added.  Just still get that warning message first, and the mini-cart isn't updated.

Hi,

Could you email me the store URL and an admin username and password so I can login and see how the store is configured? nigel@cartviper.com

Thanks
Nigel.

Unfortunately, I do not have permission from my client to give out login information.  If there are specific settings I should check, I'd be happy to do so and report back the results.

I also tried changing the maximum quantity to 60, and I had the same problems, but with 1-30 being ok to order, 31-60 having a problem. Tried 43, was ok at 1-21, bad at 22-43. So it seems that something is dividing my max number by 2.

Not sure if that helps.
