I recently upgraded to 3.9.4 and now the edit links on the variants tab don't do anything when you click on them. Also I can not manage the images either. Clicking on anything does nothing. Everything worked fine in the previous version. Ive tried other skins and that made no difference. Seems like a jquery or javascript issue but where do I even start with that?

Hi

So in 9.2 the core team updated the version of jQuery they bundle to a new version. This meant we needed to then updated some JS libraries and scripts that we use in the module.

I would guess you've upgraded a site that is using portal templates but you've not merged over the new JS files from our module folder to the location of the JS files in the portal templates.
The fix is simple, using WinMerge or similar you just need to merge over the newer JS files and that should resolve the issue. The user manual has a detailed instruction on page 6 of how to complete this process.

https://www.cartviper.com/free-trial this page has a link to the user manual.

Yes I have followed those directions and it made no difference. I can not edit my client's products at all. This is a serious problem. Sorry I never got notified when you posted a response. Even if I put the site to use your default templates not the portal templates it does not work.

- Update - I upgraded to 3.9.5 and no difference. This is isolated to just admin features. Cant edit or delete a variant or image

Accepted Answer
Hi
Looking at the site the issue was due to you having an older extension library enabled within Cart Viper.
This is now resolved so your site should be working normally now.

Mark
