I added 2 products to the database and now when I browse my catalog I do not see any products in my catalog.  Any thoughts?  Do products need to be "turned on"?

When I click on featured products I get an xml dump text page.  I am running the latest 6.x version of DNN as I just started using it this week.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Via the store admin module we have an option "product behaviour" have you got this configured to "hide the product", if so we will hide the product from the store is the stock level is less that zero. You can see the stock level for a product via the product edit page stock management section.

With regards the featured products issue can you provide the URL of the page this occurs on so I can have a look?

Thanks
Nigel.

The issue is you have not put the cart viper menu module on the page so when you goto the page no category is selected so no products are loaded. I would suggest adding the above module to the page, if however you don't want the category menu on the page you can set the default behaviour to display all products when no category is selected, todo this login as an admin and goto the settings of the cart viper catalogue module and it can be configured there.

You are getting the XML file when clicking on featured products as thisis an rss feed and this is the format that is displayed in.
Thanks
Nigel
