Hi,

I have been trying to get connected to the PayFlow Pro sandbox, and everything I try returns this:

Your payment has failed, your order has not been placed and you have not been charged. There was an error processing your transaction. Please contact Customer Service. Error: -1

I do not get any detail on this, or any notes in the error logs on the server.

What is Error: -1 and is there a way of finding a log entry so I know where the failure may be?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve

So what I would suggest you do is have a look at our auditing for the payment.

To do this you'll need to find your test order in the database. The table to look at is CVStore_Orders find the order in there going by the date time stamp. Once you have that remember the orderID and use this command to get some audit logs

select * from cvstore_orderattributes where parentId=ORDERID_you_looked_up

In there you should see more detailed messages about what got returned from Paypal. If you could post that data or if you prefer email mark@cartviper.com I'll try to give you some insight into what is happening.

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark,

Perfect! I was able to see the logs and know where the error was. I had the URL in there wrong and it was not reaching the server.

Nice to know how to check this log for future use.

Thanks for the quick response.

Steve
