I can't seem to get anything to calculate using USPS shipping.  In the cart, I get the message:
Sorry, but we don't have any shipping rates for the weight of items in your basket to the selected country. Please either selected a different billing / shipping address or contact us stating the list of products you'd like to order along with the billing / shipping address and we'll get a quote for you.

USPS is selected as the shipper.  I requested an account and got a username and password assigned (I notice cart viper does not ask for the password).

I have weights assigned to all products and filled in a 2 lb minimum in the shipping settings.

After trying the default endpoint that comes in the module with no luck, I noticed my signup email from USPS included a testing endpoint - and I have to request a live one when I'm ready.  I tried using the test endpoint, but nothing calculates at all.  Where am I going wrong?

Hi Brian

From what I remember USPS have an issue that the test system they run doesn't support version4 protocol requests, what you need to do is request access to the live server and change the URL in the shipping provider page and they it will just work.

Regards

Mark

Hi,

The correct URL to enter into Cart Viper is:

http://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll

Thanks
Nigel.

Nigel: I am still getting the same message - the calculation is not working.

I am now approved for live processing at USPS, I am using live endpoint http://production.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPI.dll, I am using the username that USPS issued to me (although you are not prompting me for a password).  I get the same response:

Sorry, but we don't have any shipping rates for the weight of items in your basket to the selected country. Please either selected a different billing / shipping address or contact us stating the list of products you'd like to order along with the billing / shipping address and we'll get a quote for you.

I can send you all of my info if you care to test it?
