Hi,

The subject title says it all. The store doesn't do online c.card proccessing. Shipping and tax are manually added, customer contacted and order $$ total approved. c.card processing done manually. The owner/operator is set in some very old ways.

Hi,

Cart Viper uses a template / token system you will need to edit the templates:

productDetail.htm
productList.htm

And remove the token [VATPRICE] this will stop the tax price being outputted on the product details and store catalogue page. Page 144 onwards of our user guide explains this in more detail:

Thanks
Nigel.

Nigel,

Your suggestion worked fine on my local install. But this am when I went to edit those files (productDetal.htm and productList.htm) in \Portal\0\CVStore\Templates . The \CVStore folder is missing altogether on our host site.  I did find the files under \DestopModules\CartViper\Templates. Do you have any idea why |CVStore would not be there and \ or is this OK? Can I edit the .htm files in \DestopModules\CartViper\Templates.

Hi,

In the store admin -> store info, have you selected "portal templates"? If you select and save this it should copy the template files to the correct location in the portal folders.
You can edit the template files in the desktopmodules folder if you have NOT enabled portal templates.

Thanks
Nigel.

Nigel,

Thanks again. Yes, that was the problem. Fixed now, \CVStore shows up now.

I've been opening up the administration panel on the host site to do the editing of such files. Mostly because I it took less time than hunting around on how tto edit .htm files in DNN or Cart Viper. Is there a way to edit those files from within DNN or Cart Viper. I've not noticed any tool that gives me access to host site file directory.
