Individual managers are able to add or modify categories and products before the changes are then stored in the workflow queue. The store administrator is then notified via email of the pending changes to moderate. The administrator views the current values of the changed objects and then see the proposed values before either accepting or declining changes. Only when the changes have been accepted by the administrator will they then by visible to the browsers in the store front.
The Workflow License also features version history for all categories and products allowing you to see every saved version of the objects.
